Monash Graduate School of Business

The Monash University Graduate School of Business (GSB) delivers graduate business education to more than 4000 students.
The GSB offers a range of masters programs, related certificates and diplomas, as well as higher degrees by research (DBA and PhD). Masters degrees include generalist degrees such as the MBA and Master of International Business and specialist programs such as Master of Practicing Accounting or Master of Marketing.
Our scale and diversity allows us to offer an unparalleled range of study choices, with the flexibility of a variety of teaching modes in different locations including off-campus study.
Most coursework programs are offered on the Caulfield campus, conveniently located 10 km from the centre of Melbourne and adjacent to the Caulfield train station.

Masters degree - four units
Most masters degrees in the GSB comprise 12 units, but there are a few exceptions to this structure, eg the Master of Applied Economics, Master of Applied Finance and Master of Business Law (eight units); the Master of Banking (10 units); the Master of Business (Accounting), Master of Business (Banking and Finance), Master of Business Administration and Master of Practising Accounting (16 units).
Note that in the Department of Marketing, graduate certificates and graduate diplomas are only offered as exit points from the masters courses.
Students who wish to terminate their studies after completion of four or eight units may apply for these awards.
