Synopsis:

Objectives: Students will develop: - An understanding of the principles of drug therapy in particular patient groups. - An understanding of the pathophysiology and pharmacotherapy of several common disease states. - An ability in applying these principles in consideration of patient care issues. - An ability in the clinical application of knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics in selected patient groups. - An appreciation of the role fo the pharmacist in primary health care and patient management.

Prerequisites: Completed third year Bachelor of Pharmacy
