Synopsis:

Objectives: Students will develop: - Understanding of the principles of drug therapy in particular patient groups, and provisions of clinical pharmacy services. - An ability in applying these principles in consideratioin of patient care issues and in clinical interviewing and history taking. - An appreciation of the role of the pharmacist in primary health care.

Contact Hours: 56 hours Lectures; 7 hours Tutorials.

Prerequisites: All second year Bachelor of Pharmacy subjects
