Radiologic biology 4 (3 points)

Synopsis:

Objectives: At the successful completion of this subject, students will be able to 1. Demonstrate an understanding of the structure and function of the cardiovascular, lymphatic and immune systems and the significance for medical imaging examinations 2. Demonstrate an understanding of haematological disorders, of congenital and acquired cardiovascular disease and disorders affecting the immune system 3. Appreciate the concept of immunity 4. Identify the surface landmarks associated with the cardiovascular and lymphatic systems 5. Identify and describe the angiographic representation of the common disorders affecting the cardiovascular and lymphatic systems as well as their cross-sectional representation on CT and MRI

Assessment: One written examination (2 hours): 75% + One multi-station recognition examination: 25%
