Synopsis:

Objectives: To develop knowledge and understanding concerning the: 1. Psycho-social nature of human action and illness To enhance your ability to: 1. Obtain and record information from an individual 2. Use appropriate observation and interviewing skills 3. Provide patients with appropriate and ethical levels of care 4. Obtain information from library and other archival sources 5. Think critically about psychological, social and ethical issues 6. Integrate information obtained by observation with basic science knowledge and theory, and present written and oral reports.

Assessment: Written examination (90 min): 75% + Literature review: 25%
