PSY4200Psychology honours: Theory and practice (24 points)(MED) Leader: Dr Greg Yelland
Offered: Synopsis:
Objectives: Assessment: Two exams (30%), Seminar Presentation, discussion and 1500 word essay (10%), 9000 word theoretical essay (60%) Contact Hours: 1 hours/week of lectures, 1.5 hours/week of seminars, 10 hours SPSS computer workshops mid year, and 1/2 week supervision of theoretical essay. The remainder of the time would be spent in library searches, reading and preparation of a seminar presentation, and the theoretical and contemporary issues essays. Prerequisites: Completed Bachelors Degree with an APS accredited 3-year major sequence in Psychology Corequisites: PSY4100 Prohibitions: PSY4001, PSY4002, PSY4011, PSY4012, PSY4021, PSY4022 |
