Synopsis:

Objectives: Upon completing this subject students will be able to: 1. Conduct original research independently. 2. Critically analyse information and exhibit developed and problem solving skills. 3. Undertake sophisticated and critical analysis of conceptual and empirical issues pertaining to terrorism and security studies. 4. Demonstrate sophisticated written communication skills.

Assessment: Written work comprised of 18,000 word research dissertation: 100%

Contact Hours: Fortnightly supervisory meetings

Prerequisites: Students must have completed 48 points of the Master of Terrorism and Security Studies with at least a Credit Average result.
