Synopsis:

Objectives: On completion of this unit students will: 1. be able to analyse the causal factors of acut and gradual onset disasters, including refugee crisis; 2. develop relevant skills in the assessment of, and response to major public health emergencies.

Assessment: Short answer examination + Written assignment

Contact Hours: 7 day intensive block

Prerequisites: Basic computer proficiency MPH1040 & MPH1041 or MPH1030 & MPH1031
