Synopsis:

Objectives: On completion of this unit students should: 1. have acquired the practical skills required to identify key health problems in developing countries; 2. have the ability to design and manage relevant and sustainable public health programs; 3. be able to evaluate the health, social environment and economic impact of these programs.

Assessment: Written projects

Contact Hours: 6 x 2 weekday contact hours and 2 x 7 weekend contact hours

Prerequisites: Basic computer proficiency MPH1040 & MPH1041 or MPH1030 & MPH1031

Corequisites: MPH1040 & MPH1041 or MPH1030 & MPH1031
