Synopsis:

Objectives: On successful completion of this subject students will: 1. be able to appreciate what is currently known and practised in the area of behaviour change and contribute a professional opinion to the process of designing health promotion projects particularly in rural and remote areas; 2. be able to demonstrate an awareness of the essential community processes and support required for success in these endeavours.

Assessment: Journal article (2000 words): 35% + Health promotion project (1500 words): 25% + Examination: 40%

Off-campus attendance requirements: Five-day residential school
