Educational project research and development in health settings (6 points)

Synopsis:

Objectives: On completion of this unit students will have demonstrated the ability to: 1. identify an educational need related to their teaching/supervisory role and formulate a proposal for action; 2. conceptualise the need in terms of theory and context information and link that to a practical intervention; 3. develop and implement a session of program of instruction to address the perceived need; 4. evaluate the program/session; 5. present the conceptualisation, design, implementation and evaluation of the project in both a written report and an oral presentation.

Assessment: Lliterature review (10%) + Project Proposal (30%) + Presentation (30%) + Written report (30%)
