LAW5149Advanced professional practice 506 (6 points)(LAW) Leader: Associate Professor Adrian Evans (All semesters)
Offered: Synopsis:
Objectives: Assessment: Casework at Clinic according to criteria available from coordinator: 80% + Written report: 20% Contact Hours: One 3-hour clinic session per week plus follow up research and casework Prerequisites: LAW1100 Legal Process; Either LAW5216 Professional Practice or LAW5120 Professional Practice (Summer) or, for the family law clinic, the placement in either LAW4162 or LAW4163. Acceptance into all LAW5129 clinics requires the support of an applicant's supervisor in LAW5216 or LAW5120, to be provided after the offer of a provisional place in the clinic. Applications are available from the Student Services Office, to be lodged by mid-September for summer semester and mid-December for the main semesters in the year prior to proposed enrolment.
