Synopsis:
Objectives: On successful completion of this unit, students will: 1.demonstrate understanding of a specialist application of interior architecture, with particular reference to relevant contemporary interior, environmental and architectural design and discourse; and the complexity of human needs that this interior architecture application addresses; 2.competently articulate the personal aesthetic, cultural and social position represented by their design solution, in its technical resolution and detail; 3.demonstrate application of this research-based understanding and capability in the development of a fully resolved specialist set of interior architecture designs that resolve to a high degree all project factors; 4.be able to communicate resolution of the project with high quality presentations and professional level technical documentation; 5.self-manage the scheduling of project work; 6.identify, understand and be capable of applying the pertinent building technologies, specifications, and documentation techniques.
