Assessment: Written (2000 words): 40% + Examinations (2 hours): 40% + Practical work: 20%

Contact Hours: 3 hours per week on average (two lectures per week and one 2-hour practical per fortnight) plus one 2-day field excursion

Prerequisites: A first-year sequence in geography and environmental science, mathematics or environmental science or permission
