Assessment: Two essays (2250 words each): 100% + Third-year students will be required to demonstrate a greater engagement with the theory and history of romance and romanticism than second-year students

Contact Hours: 2 hours (1 lecture and 1 tutorial) per week

Prerequisites: A second-year sequence in English or Comparative Literature (not Cultural Studies)
