Synopsis:

Objectives: As for ENH2165

Assessment: Class paper (1000 words) & tutorial participation: 30% + Essay (1500 words): 30% + Class Test (2 hours): 40% + Third-year students are required to address in their essay and class test topics which require them to apply specific aspects of critical theory in their discussion of the set texts

Contact Hours: One hour lecture and a 1.5 hour seminar

Prerequisites: First year English sequence or its equivalent
