Intervention across the lifespan (12 points)

Synopsis:

Objectives: At the completion of this unit students will be able to design and evaluate intervention programs based on behavioural principles; show a knowledge of empirically supported behavioural interventions; show an understanding of legal/ethical issues associated with behavioural intervention; show a knowledge of local human service systems relevant to the needs of the professional psychologist.

Assessment: Major Assignment (6000 words): 70% + Minor assignment (equivalent 2500 words): 30%

Contact Hours: 3 hours per week

Prerequisites: Completion of an Australian Psychological Society (APS) accredited major sequence in psychology
