The impact of computer technology on education and society (12 points)

Synopsis:

Objectives: Upon successful completion of this unit, students should have developed an awareness of the impact of computer and related technologies on various aspects of contemporary society and an understanding of the interactions of this with education; and a critical understanding of the implications for policies, practices and potential for computer use in education.

Assessment: One minor paper (3000 words) and one major paper (5000 words). Students complete a minor paper based on the introduction, and one major paper chosen from modules 1-3
