Introduction to Research Methodology (6 points)

Synopsis:

Objectives: Upon successful completion of this unit, students should be able to distinguish between a wide variety of approaches to undertaking research in education, including historical, descriptive, correlational, causal-comparative and experimental; have become familiar with the nature of a research report; be able to construct research plans; have presented a review of research literature; have demonstrated the skills required to present a completed research proposal.

Assessment: Two assignments (2000 words each): 50% each
