Synopsis:

Objectives: Upon successful completion of this unit, students should have an understanding of the theory and practice of program design and delivery; be able to identify and describe different approaches to program design and their implications for teaching, learning and assessment; be able to describe a variety of evaluation approaches and the situations in which they are best used; and be able to undertake or analyse program design and delivery taking into account a variety of situational, learner and social parameters.

Assessment: Assignment 1: Reading review (1,500 words) 40%; Assignment 2: Final report (2,500 words) 60%
