Synopsis:

Assessment: The assessment will be based on the project deliverables, which will depend on the topic. The assessment will include a variety of components, such as (but not restricted to): a project proposal and plan; a working prototype hardware and/or software, plus appropriate supporting and operational documentation; an extensive report of the results of the investigation; and/or an oral presentation, and where appropriate, demonstration to the examiners. As an indication, a 6-point project leading solely to a written report would typically result in a report of at least 6,000 words.
