Synopsis:

Objectives: On completion of this unit the student should: 1. Be able to identify the key stages of the project life cycle. 2. Understand the role of the project manager and the various ways that projects can be organized. 3. Understand budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation and monitoring information systems. 4. Understand basic project auditing, technological forecasting and cultural awareness. 5. Understand the appropriate way to terminate a project and; 6. Have a working understanding of how to plan and initiate a project.
