Synopsis:

Objectives: By the end of this subject candidates should be able to: 1. Demonstrate knowledge of the diagnostic and classificatory systems used in psychiatry. 2. Display knowlege of and skills in methods of assessment and diagnosis. 3. Understand the context of psychiatric care. 4. Reveal knowledge of relevant legislation and it's application to clinical psychiatric care.
