A combined course for the Bachelor of Performing Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees enables students to take out both degrees after five years of full-time study. Students complete 252 points of study in core performing arts and law components.
To satisfy the performing arts component of the double degree, students must
complete 96 performing arts points (studies drawn from drama, dance, music and
visual culture in the Faculty of Arts), including a drama and theatre studies
major (48 points), and a performance studies major (48 points).
Note that students cannot graduate from the Bachelor of Performing Arts until
they have satisfied the above requirements and successfully completed studies
to the value of 144 points. Students undertaking the above double degree
program are permitted to count up to 48 points of law units towards those 144
points. Students must also complete at least 36 points at third-year level.
