Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine

This 48-credit-point course is specifically designed for general practitioners and aims to achieve the following objectives:

Opportunities may exist to upgrade to the masters degree. Applicants must have a minimum of two years postgraduate experience and be currently registered by the medical board in their respective state, or have a qualification which is eligible to be registered in a state of the Commonwealth.

Course structure

The course consists of two compulsory units:

Assessment

Assessment is by coursework participation, assignments with occasional special projects and some weekend workshops, plus formal examinations from time to time.
