Graduate Certificate in Clinical Trials

This course, offered by the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, targets the needs of health personnel and those in the pharmaceutical industry who need to design, execute and evaluate clinical trials. The course is completed in one year part-time. It is not offered on a full-time basis. This degree provides the core competencies in epidemiology, biostatistics and clinical trials issues and articulates with the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology and then the Master of Clinical Epidemiology or the Master of Public Health.

Applicants must have either a four-year undergraduate degree, or a three-year undergraduate degree and a least one year of postgraduate study, or a three-year undergraduate degree and at least one year of relevant professional experience. The department will individually assess applications from students without a three-year degree but with extensive relevant professional experience.
