Masters by coursework

Admission requirements

Admission requirements for masters degree can vary considerably according to the degree concerned. Refer to the individual course entries for admission requirements.

Duration

Masters degrees are normally completed in three to four semesters of full-time study or part-time equivalent. Faculty regulations regarding duration can be found at http://www.monash.edu.au/pubs/calendar/facultyregs/regs-bus04.html#Heading102.

Advanced standing

Advanced standing in masters degrees can vary considerably according to the degree concerned. Refer to the individual course entries for details on the amount of advanced standing available.

Fees

Normally masters degrees are offered on a fee-paying basis.

The fees quoted are provided as a guide only and are subject to final approval by the university late in 2003. For future years of your course, Monash University reserves the right to adjust annual tuition fees to take into account increases in university and course delivery costs. However, Monash University undertakes that any adjustment factor will not exceed 10 per cent per annum.
