Graduate Diploma in Human Resources

Course code: 1739 + Course abbreviation: GradDipHR + Gippsland + Off-campus + Four semesters part-time + Program coordinator: Ms Wendy Webber + Total credit points required: 48

This course is designed primarily for graduates from a range of disciplines who wish to develop their human resource and industrial relations knowledge and skills.

Course structure

  1. Students must complete three core units (18 credit points):

  2. Students must complete five units (30 credit points) from:

    1. 9000-level graduate units taught by the Department of Management, other departments in the Faculty of Business and Economics or other faculties of Monash University subject to course director approval

    2. Three units (18 credit points) chosen from 9000-level graduate units taught by the Department of Management, other departments in the Faculty of Business and Economics, or other faculties of Monash University, and two units (12 credit points) chosen from 5000-level graduate units taught by the Department of Management.

Students who successfully complete the Graduate Diploma in Human Resources may apply for admission to the Master of Human Resource Management and would be eligible for advanced standing for four units.
