The certificate provides a short course in taxation and related topics appropriate for taxation practitioners seeking to meet continuing professional education requirements or to update their knowledge in specific taxation areas.

Course structure

Students must complete four units (24 credit points) from the following list:

With the permission of the course director, students may select two units (12 credit points) from the list above and two units (12 credit points) from the Department of Business Law and Taxation graduate program or other departments within the Faculty of Business and Economics or other faculties within the university.

Students who successfully complete the Executive Certificate in Taxation may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma in Taxation course, or the Master of Taxation if a high credit average is achieved.
