Course code: 2678 + Department of General Practice, East Bentleigh + Full-fee-paying course: $5200 (Australian residents); $6700 (international students)
This course will bring medical practitioners who study medical acupuncture to a stage where they can practise acupuncture competently and safely within the community.
Applicants must be registered medical practitioners engaged in full or part-time general practice.
Two compulsory weekend workshops (15 hours each).
The course is conducted over approximately one year, consisting of two part-time semesters. Students are required to complete the following units:
Assessment consists of coursework participation, assignments, formal examination and clinical supervision, including attendance at two compulsory weekend workshops.
Candidates who have other equivalent qualifications may apply for exemption for certain units in the graduate certificate course. Each case will be considered on its merits.
