This course is designed to help people understand conceptual frameworks of public policy and management in the public sector. It will analyse current major challenges in public policy and public management and the range of solutions being used to address these. It will also give students the opportunity to apply the skills gained from the program to work-related situations.
The course of study is one year part-time. Students should
enrol in two units each semester. To complete the course requirements, students
must complete four units:

(b) Two electives units chosen from the following units, other departments of the Faculty of Business and Economics, or other faculties of Monash University, subject to the approval of the course director:
Completion of the Graduate Certificate in Public Policy and Management will allow direct entry into the Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management or the Master of Public Policy and Management.
