Graduate Certificate in Public Policy and Management

Course code: 1505 + City campus + Normally one year part-time + Course director: Professor Owen Hughes + Total credit points required: 24 + Attendance not required

General course information

This course is designed to help people understand conceptual frameworks of public policy and management in the public sector. It will analyse current major challenges in public policy and public management and the range of solutions being used to address these. It will also give students the opportunity to apply the skills gained from the program to work-related situations.

Course structure

The course of study is one year part-time. Students should enrol in two units each semester. To complete the course requirements, students must complete four units:

Articulation

Completion of the Graduate Certificate in Public Policy and Management will allow direct entry into the Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management or the Master of Public Policy and Management.
