The English language requirements for all Business and Economics undergraduate courses of Monash University are satisfied by meeting one of the following criteria:

Special requirements

PC requirement

Access to an IBM-compatible computer is essential for the use of word processing and other software packages. It is also recommended that off-campus learning students have access to a modem to facilitate email communication with teaching staff and access to web-based teaching material.

Advanced standing for previous study

Normally a student is entitled to advanced standing to a maximum of 50 per cent of the course requirement. Details of the faculty's advanced standing policies can be found in at http://www.monash.edu.au/pubs/calendar/facultyregs/regs-bus.html. Applicants should check each course for conditions on advanced standing upon application.

Applications for advanced standing must clearly indicate units for which advanced standing is requested and must be accompanied by legally certified documentation of academic transcript and unit syllabus usually from the course handbook.
