VCM2002Multimedia Imaging (Animation) (6 points)(A&D) Leader: To be advised
Offered: Synopsis: This subject provides students with opportunities to apply increasing experience, skills, knowledge and creativity to 2D animation and sound components of multimedia productions. Students are expected to conceive, design and produce static, motion and interactive imaging for multimedia applications. Preliminary focus will be given to the specific requirements for successful multimedia publication, from concept to design, scripting, planning, coordinating and testing. Major project work allows students to explore and develop individual interests and skills. Assessment: Minor assignments: 50%. Major project: 40%. Journal: 10%. Contact Hours: 6 points + 12 hours per week including; 1 hour lecture, 2 hour tutorial and 9 independent study hours per week + Second semester, Berwick + Prerequisites: VCM2101 or VCM1002 + Core subject within Bachelor of Multimedia Systems + Prohibitions: VCM2102 and VCM3102.
