Applied Statistics (12 points)

Synopsis: Statistical methods used in social research. Topics include univariate analysis, cross-tabulation, control variables, correlations and tests of statistical significance, graphical displays, sampling theory and its practical application.

Assessment: Two practical assignments: 35% each + Essay (2700 words): 30% (equivalent to a total of 9000 words)
