Synopsis: As for SCY2100

Assessment: Essay (2000 words): 50% + Class test (equivalent 1500 words): 30% + Short assignment: 20% + Third-year students must demonstrate greater knowledge of current theorising than second-year students, but no greater knowledge of the classical theoretical perspectives.

Contact Hours: 2 hours (1 lecture and 1 tutorial) per week

Prerequisites: A first-year sequence in Sociology or permission
