Synopsis: Research in radiography and medical imaging: moral and ethical issues, sources of information, scientific methodology, quantitative and qualitative research in radiography and medical imaging; current trends in research, constructing a research proposal, literature review, analysis and interpretation of research data; feedback and appraisal, effective communication: written and oral reporting, critical evaluation of data and research publications, supervised participation in a research task.

Assessment: Essay/assignments: 30% + Research task report: 50% + Seminar/poster: 20%
