Sonographic methods 2 and sonographic professional skills (8 points)

Synopsis: Introduction to the role of ultrasound in the examination of the male and female reproductive system. Further clinical instruction for participation in sonographic examinations of the abdominal organs to a basic competency. Scanning techniques for the kidneys, adrenal glands and Abdominal Doppler Ultrasound. Professional behaviour and ethics relating to ultrasound.

Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 60% + Multistation recognition examination: 20% + one assignment (1500 words): 15% + Methods laboratory exercise: 5%
