Introduction to Philosophy A (6 points)

Synopsis: PHL1010 consist of set of optional components, from which students must choose two. The components offered in any year will be drawn from the following list: (i) 'Life, Death and Morality'; (ii) 'God, Freedom and Evil'; (iii) 'Great Thinkers: Bold Ideas'; (iv) 'Crime and Punishment'; and (v) 'Reason and Argument'. Assessment: Three short exercises (1250 words): 30% + Essay (1250 words): 30% + Examination: 40%

Contact Hours: 3 hours (2 lectures and 1 tutorial) per week
