Clinical practice (Project 2) (6 points)

Synopsis: The student will be currently undertaking a major ongoing work-based project and expressed the desire for continuing mentorship through the Centre for Ambulance & Paramedic Studies. The student will prepare a project brief in the form of a learning contract which will then be discussed with the subject co-ordinator. The project will normally be an extension of the project undertaken in PAR3051 Clinical practice project - 1. The subject will require the student to define the problem/question/task, identify an appropriate theoretical model/methodology, collect the necessary data, undertake the analysis and prepare the report.

Assessment: Preparation of project brief and learning contract: 10% + Participation in meetings: 15% + Verbal presentation of report: 25% + Written presentation of report: 50%

Contact Hours: 156 hours including minimum of 13 hours direct contact with supervisor

Prerequisites: employment by an Ambulance Service
