Synopsis: On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to identify and advocate the intentions of their design work and appreciate the values by which the work may be scrutinized; be able to develop a working method appropriate to their intentions; and will be able to express the aesthetic, symbolic and ideological relevance of their work.

Assessment: First assignment (1500 words) 25% + Second assignment (4500 words) 75%

Contact Hours: 12-hours per week including one 2-hour seminar and 10-hours independant study

Prerequisites: admission to MVA course
