Synopsis: Develops knowledge base & rational processes required for risk decision making & risk management in the health arena. Topics includes: examination of risk assessment outcomes in different circumstances; risk management strategies using illustrative case studies in food, water & environmental safety; the principles & science of good risk management; overview of different regulatory frameworks; evolution of risk communication & different communication models using case studies.
