Synopsis: Reviews key management & organisational theories and interface of theory & practice in clinical health care management. Human resource management, sources of power & influence, techniques for managing organisational change & building clinical health care systems and elements of strategic planning. Differences between management & leadership, leadership skills, team building and conflict management. Development & management of networks, strategic alliances and factors industrial, technological, political, social & economic which impact on organisation of work in clinical health systems.

Assessment: Web-based tasks + Written assignments + Group presentation
