MMS5950The multimedia industry (6 points)(IT) Leader: Ass/Professor Kathy Blashki
Offered: Synopsis: Legal and ethical issues such as copyright and privacy relevant to the multimedia professional will be discussed; current and future application areas of multimedia; responsibilities of the multimedia professional and related issues will also be explored. Assessment: Written report: 70% + Coordination and participation in tutorial/group discussions: 30% Contact Hours: The student workload requirement is 12 hours per week for 13 weeks.On-campus: Students will attend one 1 hour seminar and one 2 hour tutorial session per week. Students are expected to spend 9 hours per week on individual study and assignment work, including library research beyond these normal class hours.OCDL (Distance Education): Students will work through study guides, partake in on-line conferences, view video taped seminars and study other learning materials including CD based material, complete prescribed reading and assignment work.
