Contemporary issues in management (6 points)

Synopsis: Topics selected for emphasis will alter as contemporary issues change. The study of great ideas in management on motivation, job design, human resource management, ethics, social responsibility, leadership, production/operations management, business policy, strategy, and the management process are explored through the study of the works of major management scholars.

Assessment: Essay (2000 words): 25% + Report (3000 words): 45% + Examination (2 hours): 30%

Contact Hours: 3-hour class per week

Prerequisites: Acceptance into the BBus(Hons) program
