Organisational behaviour (6 points)

Synopsis: Issues will be addressed at several levels: organisational level - organisational productivity; links of business strategy to people management; culture; implementation. Group level - teamwork; work practices. Individual level - employee attitudes; behaviour. Managing the diverse workforces arising from contemporary changes. The unit takes a problem-focused approach, presenting practices and interventions to address problems and contemporary issues for practice.

Assessment: Major assignment (2500 words): 40% + Minor research project (500 words): 10% + Participation: 10% + Examination (2 hours): 40%

Contact Hours: 2-hour lecture and 1-hour tutorial per week

Prerequisites: Completion of 12 units of study from the Faculty of Business and Economics.
