Synopsis: This unit is designed to lay a practical foundation for medical and other health science teaching. It will cover the following: 1. Presentation, communication and facilitation skills, Instructional materials development 2. Clinical supervision including organisational and management issues 3. Faculty and organisational development 4. Educational process across a range of group sizes 5. Facilitation of multidisciplinary and cross organisational programs 6. Cultural components of learning and teaching and their influence on programs of instruction and supervision 7.Curriculum design and Instructional design

Assessment: One-to-one teaching or supervision (30%) + Small group teaching (40%) + Large group teaching (30%)
