Synopsis: Matrices and linear algebra. Elementary functions. Derivatives and applications. Integration, applications and techniques. Use of a computer algebra package.

Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 70% + Assignments/tutorials and tests: 30%

Contact Hours: Three 1-hour lectures and one 1-hour support class per week

Prerequisites: VCE Mathematical Methods units 3 and 4
