Current issues in environmental protection (6 points)

Synopsis: The subject will cover the international legal responses to major global and transboundary environmental problems (such as pollution and climate change, ozone depletion, biodiversity, marine pollution and the import and export of hazardous waste).

Assessment: Research assignment (3,500 words): 45% + Take home examination (3,500 words): 45% + Class participation: 10%

Contact Hours: 2 hr p.w.

Prerequisites: previous studies in environmental law.
