Synopsis: This subject will cover the international legal responses to major global and transboundary environmental problems (such as pollution and climate change, ozone depletion, biodiversity, marine pollution and the import and export of hazardous waste).

Assessment: Research paper (4000 words): 50% + 2-hour take home examination: 50%

Prerequisites: Prior studies in environmental law or international law or a comparable unit
