Synopsis: Consolidate and develop skills in reading about and understanding issues in contemporary Korea. Texts include newspaper articles, advertisements, essays and fiction.

Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 40% + Reading assignments (total of 2500 words): 60%

Contact Hours: 4 hours per week

Prerequisites: KOR4330 or equivalent
